Turner Diesel Ltd are a wholly owned subsidiary of Turner & Co (Glasgow) Ltd. Although a diversified group, several of the companies operating within the Turner Group specialise in Diesel Engine Products and Diesel Driven Equipment.

The Turner Group without doubt forms the largest Diesel Engineering organisation in the United Kingdom and our sphere of activity places us firmly in the International league. Turner Diesel Ltd plays a key part in the Turner Group's Domestic and International presence.

Turner Diesel serve the needs of offshore and onshore operators of Power Generation, Drilling, Production, Pumping, Commercial Marine and Well Servicing equipment. A workforce of over 100 provide expert assistance on a wide range of diesel engine types and diesel driven equipment. Our International activities extend throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East with interests in the Rail, Marine, Drilling and Power Generation industries.

Product Summary

The main franchised product line distributed by Turner Diesel is Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation (EMD), the world's leading heavy freight locomotive and medium speed diesel engine manufacturer. Our distributor responsibility covers Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, Middle East, FSU, India and China is controlled from our Aberdeen base. We have service centres located in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE, and agents offer product support in China and Iran.

Turner Diesel also handle New Product Sales (Scotland), Parts and Service for Detroit Diesel Corporation and Parts and Service (Scotland) for Allison Transmission Div.

In the UK and EIRE we represent Woodward Governor Co. as sole authorised distributor and Authorised Independent Service Facility and in addition a Central Distributor operation for eight Middle Eastern Countries, each with authorised Sales/Service outlets.
